The Maestro
Gian Piero Reverberi, a sensitive yet impulsive virtuoso of piano, conductor, arranger and composer for orchestras, shatters musical barriers with his music. His repertoire extends from classical music to pop. He digests emotions, fantasy and reality in his works. For instance, on the album “Luna di Miele” producted in 1999, he describes the musical journey of a married couple through enchanting Venice, that city always inspiring the Maestro to new musical delicacies.
He has been counting for decades to the best musicians of Italy. He is a man of music, that demanding one always offering brilliant variety. He is a cordial orchestra conductor, but claims discipline and performance, since he always provides them. On the other hand he is also a lovely family father and a sincere husband as well as a good friend because capable of criticism. Finally he is a humble personality interested in arts and culture, introverted but receptive and therefore always honest whilst striving not to hurt anybody.
G.P. Reverberi does not fit in any category. At least not forever. Because every time it seemed that he had been eventually categorized somehow, he proved to be the opposite. Gian Piero, the perfect student at the conservatory? Long passed. But traces are still perceptible. Gian Piero, the ambitious and successful boy in pop business? That was long ago. But paved his way for the present. Gian Piero, the devotee to classical music only? Forget dogmas! Gian Piero, the pop-classicist? Yeah, since 23 years. Gian Piero, the future musical composer? Possible, but everything happens to its right time.
Gian Piero is a forager. He is always seeking his wholly personal path. Unperturbed and insistent. And the fact, that sometimes he fails as well, makes him even more convincing. He is not a superficial star. He distrusts the gorgeous appearance.
